What a hotel stayed in New furnished family rooms interconnected absolutely beautiful stunning spacious clean comfortable staff so friendly evening meal in restaurant was so tasty facilities everything you need in your room beautiful welcome plate on arrival wish my stay was longer but certainly will be back to stay again so easy to get to absolutely stunning hotel breakfast is a great variety and presented beautifully and hot can't recommend this hotel enough fab place to stay

Highly recommend
Our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel. It is so welcoming staff are all so friendly and professional. Pool area and sauna steamroom so relaxing and clean. Rooms are a modern high standard . Food in the bar was absolutely Delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We ate in the bar as the restaurant was taken for a private function and the food was incredible good size portions friendly staff the bedrooms were clean and very spacious met with the Laur wedding coordinator the following morning and she is brilliant really looking forward to our wedding there in 2026

My husband and I got married in the Mc Williams Park Hotel Claremorris on the 1st of June 2024. From the moment we enquired about the hotels wedding packages with their teams wedding co-ordinator we knew this was the perfect venue to host our guest and celebrate one of the most special days of our lives. The standard of service is phenomenal, their attention to every detail to help make your wedding day perfect is second to none. The whole wedding team was truly incredible and put every concern we had throughout the planning and event at ease so we could enjoy our day. All our guests complemented the dinner service and quality of the food which was plentiful from starter to desert - the food was delicious. In addition, we had many family and friends who traveled far to celebrate with us. All of whom enjoyed the comfort of the hotel rooms and services ( in particle the swimming pool and breakfast). I personally loved the elegance of the restaurant and the way it was set. The honeymoon suite is gorgeous. I'd highly recommend the hotel! If i could marry my husband again in the morning I'd still pick the McWilliams Park Hotel"

An Irish welcome in Clare Morris
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food and service was excellent. The rooms and hotel facilities were of high quality and modern. Clayton, Marie and Ian were very attentive and welcoming. The parking arrangements are second to none at this hotel and the dining room is very organised with fast service for breakfast and dinner

Excellent
Stopped off here for dinner after visiting Knock with my granny for the day. Everything from food to service was excellent. The portions were large and good value for money. Special mention to Ian and Lara who were both very friendly. Great amenities like age friendly parking outside. Will definitely be back again!

Perfect stay
We stayed in the hotel after hiking Croagh Patrick. The hotel was every thing we needed. The leasure facilities, the pool, steamroom, sauna and Jacuzzi perfect. The dinner was scrumptious the breakfast was gorgeous. The beds very comfy. Niall, Ann-Marie, Lara and Milena were great hosts

Gorgeous warm welcome from reception on arrival, rooms were spacious and spotless clean with a lovely rain shower, jacuzzi sauna steam were all wonderful additions for a relaxing afternoon .

Weekend break
Stayed at The McWilliam Park Hotel, and could not fault anything
The family room was so comfortable and clean with treats for the children on arrival in the room. The bar food and the included breakfast were tasty with multiple different options.
All the staff were really nice/friendly, from check-in, bar/waiting staff, but especially Annmarie, who really went out of her way to help us, so friendly and welcoming. We Stayed 2 nights and cannot wait to come back.

Great Staff
Stayed for work, in an executive room, which had a double bed, couch and a desk. I was initially in a deluxe room but Grace from reception kindly moved my room so that I could get work done. The Mcwilliam is situated close to town, about 10-15 minute walk in, no issue navigating around. Thank you to the lovely waiter who served my dinner, a nice young man. I can’t think of his name but he represented the hotel very well.

Family friendly
Great family friendly hotel from the pool to the big family rooms. We stayed with our 3 kids and they loved it! We spend most of the time in the pool. Grace on reception was great with the kids joking all the while checking us in smoothly. Breakfast options were great, good choices for the kids who are picky eaters. We are looking forward to our next trip down to Claremorris.

We stayed in the McWilliam hotel on Easter weekend, wish we could have stayed longer . The staff were all so nice and friendly , and Were so helpfull and kind, a special thank you to Martina who went up and beyond and was so kind . The room was spotlessly clean, and it had everything we needed, tea , coffee , biscuits, they even had left tasty Easter treats for the kids , a very thoughtful touch . The beds are so comfy and the blackout curtains were perfect , we slept great ! We had dinner In the Bar , and the food was delicious. And the portion sizes were big The breakfast is freshly cooked . And great variety , . Would highly reccomend this hotel. Everything was fabulous, and we can not wait to return .

Great hotel!
The staff were friendly helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. The evening meal and cooked breakfast were excellent. We found the bedrooms to be spacious and the beds very comfortable. We also enjoyed a few swims in the luxurious leisure centre. The complementary daily newspapers and fruit at reception is a nice touch. We'll be back again!

Very enjoyable overnight. Great Gluten Free Breakfast.
We had a very enjoyable overnight Bed & Breakfast stay which was great value.

Check in quick and easy, our “double” room had two beds was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Beds were very cosy, we each had a great night’s sleep. We had a very enjoyable dip in the pool and jacuzzi the following morning.

Particular mention must go to the lovely breakfast we had and how well the staff looked after us: my son is coeliac and we’ve found some hotels don’t handle it as well as others and he can find the process frustrating. When we entered the McWilliam’s restaurant it has a separate counter with its own GF bread (with its own toaster) muffins, corn flakes etc. The waiter went and double checked with the kitchen exactly what options were available to us on the day and we had lovely GF sausages with our hot breakfast.

Well done to everyone involved in the running of this hotel!

Great from start to finish
Lots of family staying for a few nights.
Rooms were clean and had all you need, food and service were great.
The night manager Garry could not have been more helpful, a real credit to the hotel.

Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff!
We had a lovely stay recently at The McWilliam Park Hotel - (pity about the weather though, we couldn't get outside due to the wind and rain!) The staff were lovely and most helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The only thing I would say though is that when we used the facilities, the swimming pool was freezing cold - the water temperature needs to be warmer in these Winter months, my daughter was shivering in it. But other than that it was a great stay - the food was lovely and the rooms are beautiful too and spotlessly clean.

My mother and I stayed at this lovely hotel last night. From the very moment we set foot in the hotel, we were given the warmest greeting by the staff in particular the lovely Serena at reception. The room was so clean and beds were so comfy. The food was so delicious and best of all the staff were so friendly, efficient and accomodating. The only small thing I would say and it is by no means a complaint but jsut a bit of constructive feedback is that the air conditioning was a bit too high in the dining area. I would have no hesitation recommendeling this hotel to anyone.

Staying at the Mc William hotel. Country Mayo. Ireland
We have just come back from a lovely 10 day break at the mc William hotel. We have been staying there since 2006 every year. The staff are fabulous. From the easy booking in process by Jeff, the warm welcome at the desk and every day. The house keeping staff are excellent and are very kind and caring making sure you have everything you need in your room especially Martina and Christina. Also wish to mention Ann - Marie who we have known for many years always making the stay a pleasure. The food is excellent both at breakfast and meals. Thank you mc William for five star service. Xx

Great hotel
Great hotel , myself & my family stayed a the the McWilliam Park hotel in July
for a wedding. I can't recommend them enough All staff were very friendly & nothing was to much trouble. It was my sons birthday on the day we arrived & they surprised him by decorating the room & leaving some little treats for him - he was delighted. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful as was the bar food. Comfortable reception/lobby area, kids enjoyed the pool. Ideal location for visits to knock.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent facilities and delightful staff
Stayed here in June 2023 as part of a group escorted holiday so we were out each day on the coach exploring Western Ireland. Our room was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel (backed onto carpark) and was at the end of the wing so was quiet and comfortable. Some other guests who were on 2nd or 3rd floors said their rooms were very warm at night. As we were on a group holiday we had a table d'hote menu with three choices of starter and main course and dessert each evening was a platter of three small portions of a range of deserts. Breakfast was good with continental/cereals/fruit/yoghurt available to help yourself. Cooked breakfust (Irish or vegetarian) and toast, tea/coffee was served at table. Jugs of drinking water provided at dinner and bar open to purchase drinks if desired. Live music on Friday & Saturday nights. Guests have free use of gym, pool and jacuzzi - hats have to be worn in pool. Only small towels provided so bring your own if you like a big towel! Lockers provided in pool area. Tea/coffee making facilities and safe provided. Lovely hotel highly recommend.

Family time with my sister
This hotel is first class!
Exceptional customer service from when we checked in to day of departure, I couldn’t fault anything about this hotel. Annmarie, one of the managers was absolutely wonderful, so very attentive, very friendly and had a great rapport with other guests as well! checked in on us on numerous occasions without being invasive, stopped for a chat, asked if we needed anything at all just let her or the staff know, cannot fault any of the staff, they were all so polite and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food in the restaurants was also delicious. Every meal was really well prepared and tasted lovely.Breakfast was also included in our room rate which gave you both continental as well as a full Irish if you wanted, together with many other options! We were given one of the executive rooms which I must say was absolutely beautiful! The room was extremely clean, so spacious, the bed, oh my, it was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful! Deep stand alone bath and separate shower with all amenities you would need, such a wonderful few days! beverages were left in the room on arrival with lovely treats to go along with them,

I would highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality, excellent location, excellent food! I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the beautiful Co Mayo in west of Ireland.

Beautiful hotel
I stayed here 5th june 2023 With my sister. She had flown over from England for a mini break We were greeted by a lovely receptionist. We went to our room Omg it was amazing we were in one of the Executive rooms. There was bottles of cold water and welcome plate. Such a lovely touch. The hotel itself is bright and very clean. We went down for dinner and staff we're lovely very helpful and polite. Dinner was extremely tasty well done to chef. We were met one of the manager's she was so helpful and had a very nice personality she chatted to us for
a while and said anything we needed to let herself or staff know. The hotel is perfect location close to local shops and bars its very clean and tidy.. Marie served us breakfast l would recommend full Irish it was lovely and well presented. She was very nice and helpful. I would definitely be returning to this hotle and would highly recommend it... Thanks to all members of staff that made our mini break so pleasant

I've stayed in the popular hotel many times but this time I've had a meal with family in the Bar,everything was just superb from the food, service, and waiting staff,Have to say all the staff there is just so friendly and welcoming,anytime I've stayed there I was well Treated the accommodation is just outstanding from comfort to cleanliness,and the Team in accommodation are extremely friendly and can't do enough to make your stay perfect,so if your planning a break away I would highly recommend this hotel also you can relax in there beautiful swimming poor, I will definitely be returning very soon well done to all staff

Good people made this good place GREAT.
The full Irish breakfast was really full and the Eggs Benedict was special. Room was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Curry at dinner was really good. Reception and Bar Waiting Staff are really exceptional for advice on local walks, impromptu glasses repairs and general friendliness. The warm friendly bar waiting staff blew others out of the water. Andrew at the Leisure centre was welcoming and helpful. Great music and a little dance in the bar Saturday evening was a surprise bonus.

A very nice hotel in an excellent location
The hotel is located in Claremorris, a town I know well. The staff are helpful and friendly and the reception area very welcoming. The rooms are large and well appointed and the breakfasts are very good. It makes a pleasant change to have breakfast served at the table. We had dinner there and it was also good. There were plenty of car parking spaces. Although it has a swimming pool and spa we did not have the time to use it.

This hotel was first class. Staff were wonderful Especially Katie who served us at dinner time.
Bed very comfortable. Rooms a good size. Cleanliness spot on.
Our food was very tasty and plentiful we had B&B and evening meal as on a Tour.
Vegetarian options, a little little limited but the chef did offer
something every evening.
Being near the airport was a bonus.
Didn’t use the pool but looked excellent with long opening hours.

This is a great hotel.

We stayed here from 23rd December to 26th December. Our room was on the second floor and was only recently renovated. Very modern & very clean. The staff are all very friendly and I was feeling sorry for them having to work Christmas 🎄 but I spoke to a couple of them at breakfast and in the dinning room Christmas night and they were nothing but polite & very friendly. Santa arrived on Christmas day with gifts for all the children in the hotel which was a nice touch. Thanks for making our Christmas a lovely one and we will definitely be back...

The room was absolutely spotlessly clean, plenty of tea & coffee and everything we needed . The beds were super comfy and a great powerful shower.. on our arrivals we were greeted by a lovely lady rosie, who checked us in, very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff there. A credit to their manager.. as it was Easter weekend. There was a beautifull presentation of Easter eggs for the kids and a welcome plate of goodies .. very thoughtful. We really enjoyed seeing Micheal English on stage sat night, great to see music back up and running again… we will be back for sure, can’t wait for our next trip .. such an enjoyable stay , and the food there is delicious, very big portion sizes too! All in all a great stay. Would def recommend.. thank you

Excellent Hotel experience, very refreshing in today's world!
Lovely modern clean cosy hotel. Good bar food and great breakfast both buffet and cooked. Very friendly helpful staff. Attended an entertainment event at the hotel - this was very well managed and the function room laid out very effectively for easy access and movement within a substantial crowd. Well done everyone.

McWilliam Very Good 😊
The room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable with everything you needed. Breakfast was excellent & all the staff were excellent bar the two older ladies in the dining room (they clearly did not want to be there) The male & female youngsters in the dining room were brilliant & very welcoming. The only other negative was the carpet in the dining room was dirty & could do with renewing. All in all a very good experience & would definitely stay there again. Well done the McWilliam 👍

Good overnight stayBoslynStayed overnight at this hotel as we attended a Mike Denver concert. We had a lovely large room with a bath, could do with mirror light for make up but clean with tea/coffee making. As there was a concert on the hotel was very busy, we had a meal in the bar which was lovely the staff were very efficient but run off their feet. The restaurant was very busy for breakfast the following morning the buffet was fine and the cooked breakfast was lovely. The reception staff were friendly and efficient.

Weekend break
We stayed in the McWilliam Hotel from the 16th to the 18th and from we arrived we received excellent service in all areas of this hotel. Serena at the desk was really lovely, friendly, pleasant and great at her job. Annmarie in the bar area , barstaff , waiting boys and girls . Housekeeping girls were all so helpful and most of all friendly. We can recommend the McWilliam for a lovely relaxing stay.

Overnight stay for 4 adults after a visit to Knock Shrine
This is an excellent to Hotel to stay. The location was so close to Knock and car parking great. The room was so clean and bed comfortable. The staff were exceptional and helpful from the housekeepers, receptionist, waiters, bar servers, to the manager on duty. Our evening meal and breakfast was lovely.
I cannot think of any negative points and would be happy to recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Beautiful clean and well managed hotel with fantastic staff.
I liked everything! The staff were amazing and I wanted for nothing while I was there. Nothing was too much trouble for staff in all departments ie household, bar staff, reception, waiters and waitresses were all just so lovely. We stayed for two night bed and breakfast and one evening meal. The food was delicious.

Very enjoyable stay

Many Years

I have known the McWilliam for a long time and I have eaten the food is just delicious the service good very comfortable surroundings a very relaxing environment a fabulous hotel l have in the hotel as a guest but people l have spoken to have told me the rooms are comfortable and very relaxing l should say that l live not far away from the McWilliam Park and when I am passing l stop of for something to eat and l have been to weddings in the McWilliam Park and very professional with their service the staff are excellent and helpful and professional well worthy of a visit and a stay very ideally located not far from many historical sites like Ballintuber Abbey on the Quiet Man in Cong and of course Ashford Castle and the Maam Valley so the McWilliam is central located for all those places the helpful staff will be able to help you and give practical help and advice about these locations.

Parking

Really comfortable rooms lovely staff good food nice pool bright and spacious rooms good service good rates plenty of parking available and spaces available at the front entrance of the hotel for older people to park which I thought was a great idea 👌

Music Concert

On the 24th May, we attended a country music concert at the McWilliam Park Hotel, hosted by Michael Commins. It was most enjoyable & entertaining with a stunning performance by each entertainer but the real stars of the Show were the Hotel Staff, in particular, the Duty Manager, Ann Marie who made it possible for those of us who travelled a long distance to avail of a most appetising meal.

Golf Break

We stayed in the Mc William for one night on a golfing trip. Very friendly welcome. Room was clean and had all that we needed. Had a delicious meal in the bar followed by a number of beautiful pints of guinness. Great breakfast the next morning served by two lovely ladies. We played Two beautiful golf courses in Ballinrobe and Claremorris. Should be promoted more. Overall a very happy stay in a very friendly hotel.

Easter break

We had a very enjoyable stay in Mcwilliam Park at Easter, the kids loved the pool and the breakfast. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Very friendly staff. The hotel is well located with loads of parking. Will visit again

Amazing night
This is my third time bringing my 5 year old son here for a trip away. Absolutely every single member of staff are wonderful. Gemma and Dominik go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay.

The swimming pool is great, lovely and clean, safe flooring for little feet.

The food is the kind of food you keep thinking about after. Our dinner last night was divine. Breakfast is fresh and ordered off menu.

I already can’t wait to come back. Great location, lots of parking and great value.

Weekend
Fantastic time with safe swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi.Very very friendly staff starting from reception to the bar. Kitchen amazing very yummy, from the starter to the desert.

Weekend Retreat
Fabulous weekend at this hotel. Room, food, service all excellent. The breakfast was wonderful, all tastes catered for and very hard working staff to make sure our every request was met. Great base for Knock, Achill Island, Croagh Patrick. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities
Very happy with our stay in the Mcwilliam Park. Our room was clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels daily and although we choose not to have our room serviced a courtesy bag of supplies was left on the door daily. The only slight negative we had was the 30 minute wait to check in at 4pm which was ok because the lobby was comfortable anyway. Also the menu in the bar was very limited. We ate there two times and the food was lovely but would have loved more choices/ specials etc. We had to request an extra night stay due to bad weather and we were well looked after at a very competitive rate which was much appreciated. Looking forward to our next stay

2 nights with family
Really enjoyed our stay. Check in was so welcoming. Ate dinner in hotel which was very good. Thanks Ben and co for looking after us. Kids really enjoyed pool especially as weather outside was very cold so it was nice to spend afternoon in pool. Breakfast lovely. Thanks to all staff. Would stay again.

Partners 50th birthday
This hotel & Staff made our stay so special. The room, swiming pool where excellent. I would highly recommend the food & the staff are friendly & nothing is a problem.
